Museums

The castle (Schloss Horst) houses a museum that is focused on life and work during the Renaissance.  

The museum (Hans-Sachs-Haus) presents the history of the city.  

The hall (Kunsthalle) organizes exhibitions of contemporary art.

The museum exists of three buildings. The Old Castle (Altes Schloss) shows paintings, sculpture and other art from the sixteenth century to 1900. The Leib`sches Haus is focused on the history of the city, the Wallenfels`sches Haus presents pre- and early history, archaeology and the collection of ancient art of the Justus-Liebig university.

The museum (Stadtmuseum) presents the history and culture of the city.

The gallery (Neue Galerie Gladbeck) organizes exhibitions of contemporary art.  

The museum (Museum Goch) presents the (Roman) history and (medieval) culture of the Lower Rhein region and the city of Goch.
