The forum (NRW-Forum Düsseldorf) is an agora of contemporary culture and exhibitions.  

The place Kunst Im Tunnel (Art in Tunel) is a meeting place and focal point for contemporary art. From around four to six alternating exhibitions are staged each year. The main focus of the programme is the presentation of contemporary art across a range of genres, such as sculpture, painting, photography, video art and installation.

The gallery (Akademie-Galerie der Kunstakademie) presents works by students and staff of the Art Academy: sculpture, paintings, graphic art, architecture, photography, film and video and conceptual art.

The collection presents contemporary art with a focus on time-based media art. The collection comprises installations, videos, photographs, paintings and sculptures.

The collection (Sammlung Philara) shows a wide range of contemporary art.

KAI 10, supported by the Arthena Foundation, promotes and exhibits contemporary art.

The museum (Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf) presents the history of the city.
