The gallery (Neue Galerie im Höhmannhaus) is a centre of contemporary art and also shows a collection of graphic art from South-Germany and the Baroque in particulier, including works by Hans Holbein and Elias Holl, when Ausgburg was one of the artistic centers of the region and humanism.
