Caen Castle

The castle (Château de Caen) is one of Europe’s largest medieval castles. The massive walls date from 1060 and have protected the palace of William the Conqueror, the Exchequer Hall, the governor’s residence  and the Church Saint-Georges (Saint-Georges).
