Museen

The museum (Museum für Thüringer Volkskunde) shows the culture of people of Thuringen.    

The museum exhibits medieval, modern and contemporary art, paintings, sculpture, graphic art, glass, ceramics and furniture.  

The castle (Schloss Molsdorf) is also called the „Thüringer Versailles“ and shows many works of art of the eighteenth century.    

The hall (Kunsthalle Erfurt) is dedicated to contemporary art.

The gallery (Galerie Waidspeicher) focuses on modern and contemporary art.  

The museum (Stadtmuseum) shows the history of the city and the region.

The museum (Kunstmuseum) collects and exhibits works by artists from the region with a focus on art after 1945.
