Museum (Musée du Sel) offers testimonials, audio comments, a film projection, a collection of technical objects to help to understand better the dimension of Franche-Comté’s salt industry as well as the saltworkers‘ everyday life.              

The Parcours Chagall consists of two locations. The Sarrebourg Regional Museum (Musée du Pays de Sarrebourg) exhibits contemporary architecture, the tapestry “La Paix” by Yvette Cauquil-Prince according to the work of Marc Chagall, archeology, the history of Sarrebourg, earthenware and a china collection from the XVIIIth century, historic and contemporary art. The Museum (Musée de la Faïence) boasts an extensive collection of ceramics that testifies to the diversity of styles offered by the factory. The museum also possesses an archaeological collection that showcases life in this region in the Gallo-Roman era.  

The museum (Musée du Château des Rohan) shows the archaeological finds, paintings from the churches of Sarverne and from the castle Rohan.  

The castle (thirteenth century) houses the museum (Musée de Bucheneck), that presents the history of this ancient Episcopal See and the history of Soultz.  

The archaeological site and museum cover the prehistory, Celtic, Roman and Medieval periods. The site is one of the largest of its kind in France. Soyons used to play an important economic, cultural and military role due to the crossroads of roads and waterways.
