The troglodyte monastery

The monastery (Abbaye troglodytique de Saint-Roman) was dug and built by ermits and monks in the fifth century and is one of the oldest abbeys in France. Its structure has strong similarities with constructions in Cappadocia (Turkey) and Egypt.
