Museum of Bathing Culture

The museum (Museum der Badekultur ) presents 2000 years of bathing culture. The centrepiece of the museum is the best preserved complex north of the Alps. The museum shows remains of the Roman bathing rooms, Middle Age hygiene rituals, the first washbasins and toilets, modern inventions and the beginnings of bathing tourism.
