Castle of Duino

Close to the city of James Joyce and the only sea port of the former Habsburg Empire, the castle of Duino (Castello di Duino) still boasts artistic masterpieces and rare historical relics, embellished by the period statues and objects of vanished empires, cultures and civilization, which are still prominently present in today’s Europe however.
