Die collections (Kunstsammlungen) present (early) modern and contemporary art, such as “Die Brücke”, Dresden Romanticism (Friedrich, Clausen-Dahl, Carus, Kersting, Richter), German Impressionism (Liebermann, Corinth, Slevogt, Kuehl, Sterl) and German painters after 1945. The collection of sculpture exhibits works by Rodin, Maillol, Degas, Barlach, Blumenthal, de Fiori, Kolbe, Lehmbruck, Marcks, Minne, Scheibe, von Stuck, Claus, Glöckner, Mack and Uecker.
