Park Museum Quito Martini

The park museum is born from an understanding to honor the great Italian artist Quinto Martini (1908-1990). The park is given life by 36 bronze statues. It represents an important token of European Arts in the nineteenth century of which Quinto was a chief character. Born in 1908 in Seano, Italy, he started very young to “mix mud” and to “soil with coal and colours”. In 1927 he takes part in Selvaggio first exhibition. From the early thirties he focused his work on sculpture. After the Second World War he shares the experience of the “new Humanism” movement.
