One of the world’s best preserved marlstone quarries is home to a subterraneaum museum (Jezuïtenberg) built by Jesuit scholars and their students between 1860 and 1960. They drew a full scale floor plan of the gallery’s underground network and they created numerous drawings and sculptures.
