The museum (Hans Purrmannhaus) displays the works by Hans Purrmann (1880-1966) and Mathilde Vollmoeller-Purrmann (1876-1943), the German avant-garde after 1900. Hans Purrmann was a student of Franz von Stuck and member of the Berliner Secession.
