Between Bliesbruck (Moselle) and Reinheim (Saarland), Blies flows into a large and beautiful valley dominated by a small hill, the Homerich. The archaeological park in this valley refers to the Bronze Age (around 1200 BC), the Iron Age (700-150 BC) and the Celts (from the 7th century BC ) and the Roman period, when the town of Bliesbruck developed from the middle of the 1st century AD to reach its maximum extension in the first half of the third century. The existence of a public monumental centre and the regular structuring of artisanal districts, whose remains are now preserved and visible on the site.
