The hare five hundred years later

The German painter Manfred Hürlimann (1958) is one of the artists who has been inspired by the works of Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528). They both have their roots in Nuremberg though five hundred years separate the artists. Dürer is one of the icons of European art history and many artists followed his steps with mixed success. Hürlimann succeeded by amazing interpretations and motives of the work by Dürer. The exhibitions shows his latest paintings in the setting of the Albrecht Dürer Hause in Nuremburg.
