The Caricatura Museum in Frankfurt is dedicating an exhibition to Hans Traxler, the famous cartoonist. The artists’ cartoons, caricatures and comic strips and poems, stories and novels, films, stage plays and radio plays related to his work are part of the comedy heritage of whole generations. From the beginning of the 1980s, Traxler belonged to the group, which gave itself the name of the New Frankfurt School, a reference to the old Frankfurt School of philosophers and social scientists.
